Why can’t I upgrade the DrivePro firmware with a 64GB/128GB memory card?

Category : Specification / Capacity / Performance

The default file system of memory cards over 64GB is exFAT. Previously, DrivePro did not support firmware upgrade with exFAT cards,

but in newer firmware versions this is available. The DP models and firmware versions that support firmware upgrade with exFAT cards

are listed below:

DP50, FW1.8,

DP110, FW1.7,

DP130, FW1.7,

DP230, FW1.6,

DP520, FW2.4.

Please refer to the method below to upgrade the firmware:

A. Use a card under 32GB to upgrade the firmware.

B. If you don’t have a memory card under 32GB, please do one of the following:

1) Format the card to FAT32 on your PC/laptop.

2) Upgrade the DrivePro firmware.

3) Format the card again with DrivePro before using it.
